The Bespoken: For Gentlemen is a Fashion Blogger in NYC who is
also a college professor at the only school dedicated to the
business behind fashion. His blog is eloquent and detailed, taking
a perspective on Men's Fashion and influences that most rarely visit.
It's not about what's on the runway, but rather the influence behind
the design.
Objective:
To promote the blog and subsequently increase readership.
Results:
We designed a three pronged approach to the SEO and within three
months we had doubled his average daily readers from 54 to 97
and in six months doubled that figure again. In all, about a 350%
increase since we began. His blog has maintained a Google SERP
placement on Page 1 for the past eight months for his chosen
keyword phrases using Men's Fashion, Blog, NYC, Visual
Merchandising and Retail. Using some of the photographs that he
takes regularly of retail window displays around Manhattan, we
created a couple teaser videos for distribution on all the major
social outlets. Several relevant industry websites picked up the
videos and featured them on their sites, thus increasing exposure
and regular readership.
